현대적인 시각으로 재해석하여 제작되었습니다

WMAC #2: Steltman was newly interpreted with a modern perspective by an homage

to Steltman chair of Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964), architect and furniture designer from the Netherlands.

점·선·면은 각각의 상관관계가 반복되며 다양한 꼴을 이룬다.

선은 점이 운동한 궤적이며  모든 형의 윤곽이다. 경우에 따라서는 리듬감, 감정 등을 표현하는 윤곽 이상의 것이기도 하다.

선이 이동한 흔적은 면이 되고, 면의 조직은 다양한 형태를 이루어낸다.

작가는 모든 현상에 당연하게 일어나고 있는 이 조형 이론을, 더 직설적으로 표현하여 초현실적 아름다움을 시각적, 촉각적으로 담아낸다.

 Gerrit Rietveld의 Steltman chair를 오마주하여 현대적인 시각으로 재해석되었다. 

직교하는 와이어 메시 격자 패턴은 작품이 존재하는 공간에 XYZ 축의 그리드를 형성함으로써 

3차원적 구조감을 나타내며 오브제의 기하학성을 극대화한다.

그 위로는 폴리에스터 로프의 부분적 위빙을 더하여

철망에서 느껴지는 기계성을 수공예적인 짜임으로 상보하여 따뜻함과 편안함을 전한다.

서로 다른 성질을 가진 두 소재의 선은 각각 다른 방식으로 반복되는 패턴을 만들며 면을 이루고

그 조직은 수없이 반복되는 선으로 이루어진 반투명의 오브제가 된다. 

Point, line, and plane are repeated in each correlation.

 Line is the trajectory of the flux of a point, and the outline of all shapes. 

In some cases, it is more than an outline that expresses a sense of rhythm and emotion. 

Also, the trace of the line's movement are become a plane, and the plane is formed in various shapes. 

The artist expresses this theory of formulation, which happens naturally in all phenomena, both visual and tactile.

WMAC #2: Steltman was newly interpreted with a modern perspective by an homage 

to Steltman chair of Gerrit Rietveld (1888-1964), architect and furniture designer from the Netherlands. 

The lattice pattern of the orthogonal wire mesh shows a three-dimensional structure

and maximizes the geometry of the object by forming a grid of XYZ axes in the space where the work exists. 

In addition, the polyester rope by handcrafted weaving complements the mechanicality felt in the wire mesh,

with adding warmth and comfort. 

The mixture of contrasts and harmonies that naturally combines two materials with different properties into one, 

has become a translucent object of numerous repetitive lines.
