ARTIST STATEMENT
추억이 나를 떠날까봐 두려웠지만 내가 사랑하는 순간들은 내 기억 속에서
영원히 나와 함께한다는 것을 깨달았습니다.
추억은 나를 다시 일으켜주었고 행복은 늘 내 곁에 있다는 것을 알려주었습니다.
내가 그린 추억들이 어느 누군가의 잊혀진 추억을 되찾아주고
지친 날에 위로를 전하는 따뜻한 친구가 되어줄 수 있도록
나는 오늘도 언젠가는 추억이 될 오늘을 그립니다.
영원히 나와 함께한다는 것을 깨달았습니다.

Happy moments always seem to last forever, and I used to believe that the people I loved would always be by my side. However, as time goes by, things changed and disappear, and all we are left with are memories. I've shed tears in longing for those happy moments, but I know that I can't turn the clock.
The tears shed in longing have made the sea. I found myself sinking deep in the sea, and as I closed my eyes, memories flooded back to me one by one. All the days I remember were dazzling and beautiful. I used to be afraid that my cherished moments would slip away from me, but I've come to realize that they will always be with me.
I find comfort and warmth in the memories. I draw a picture to capture all the precious moments, and I hope that this brings warmth and joy to someone's tired days. Everyday I draw a today's moment that will become a cherished memory someday.
